When Lupa asks you to choose a plan

When your company's free trial ends, Lupa shows a choose-a-plan page in place of everything else until your company is on a plan or has more time.

Who sees it

Everyone in the company sees it, admins and technicians alike, from the moment the trial ends:

  • In a browser, every page of Lupa Dash and Lupa Tech sends you to the choose-a-plan page, including a page that was already open when the trial ended.
  • In the field app, the app switches to its own choose-a-plan screen.

You stay signed in. Your data is kept — the page says "Your data is intact."

What the page shows

  • "Your trial ended on" and the date.
  • The email address Lupa will reply to: your company's billing admin.
  • The plans on offer, each with its monthly price. In a browser each plan also lists its per-use rates: per SMS, per email, per map lookup and per payment.
  • Choose this plan beside each plan, and Ask for more time.
  • Sign out.

If no plans are listed, the page says so; choose Ask for more time and Lupa will follow up.

Choose a plan

Any admin or technician can do this.

  1. Choose Choose this plan beside the plan you want.
  2. The page reads "Request sent — we'll be in touch."

Choosing a plan sends a request to Lupa; it does not switch the plan on by itself. Lupa replies by email to your billing admin, assigns the plan and takes your company off the trial. Once a request is sent, the plan buttons give way to the sent message.

If the page reads "That plan is no longer offered. Choose another." (in a browser) or "That plan is not available." (in the field app), that plan has been withdrawn — pick another.

Ask for more time

  1. Choose Ask for more time.
  2. The page reads "Request sent — we'll be in touch."

If Lupa extends your trial, the page lets you back in.

Add a card from the page

Admins and owners also see Add a payment method in a browser, when Lupa has card saving switched on and no card is on file. It opens Lupa's payment processor's secure page and brings you back here.

Once a card is on file, everyone who opens the page in a browser sees "Card on file — we'll switch your account on." A card on file does not lift the page by itself: Lupa still assigns the plan and takes your company off the trial. See Lupa billing and your trial.

The field app does not offer Add a payment method; add the card from a browser.

Getting back in

Once Lupa extends the trial or puts your company on a plan:

  • In a browser, the page checks every 30 seconds and takes you to your dashboard by itself.
  • In the field app, choose Check again.
